During our family stay at Maison Laclede, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and family-friendly atmosphere that embraced us from the moment we arrived. As a history teacher with a deep appreciation for heritage, the 400-year-old house felt like a step back in time, making it a unique and enriching experience for my husband, daughter, and me. Exploring the house felt like wandering through a mini museum, with antique furniture and period objects adorning every corner. My daughter was particularly delighted to discover the Hotel Triplets Entertainment, a charming area where she spent hours playing and making new friends with other young travelers. It was heartwarming to see her engaging in activities that not only entertained her but also enriched her cultural understanding. The inclusive and family-oriented ambiance extended to the breakfast table, where we enjoyed a traditional French spread of jam, honey, croissants, and tea/coffee. Maison Laclede provided us with a memorable family vacation, offering a blend of historic charm and modern comfort. For families seeking a welcoming retreat with a touch of French elegance, this hidden gem is a must-visit. We left with our hearts full and minds enriched with the unique experiences and memories this historic hotel gifted us.
